TONIGHT: Domino Park to be Taken Over by Cyclists for ‘Bike Home From Work’ Party

Local cyclists will take over Williamsburg’s Domino Park this evening for an annual blowout celebration of the end of National Bike Month.

The “Bike Home From Work Party,” is held every year by local transit advocacy group Transportation Alternatives. For the month of May, the group encourages residents to bike to and from work, and rewards riders with the .

The event, which is free to attend, will kick off at 6:30 p.m. The party will feature a beer garden, food trucks, games, dancing and, most importantly, a free bike valet. Things are expected to wrap up around 10 p.m.

Transportation Alternatives will be accepting donations to help the group continue to work throughout all five boroughs boroughs to make the city’s streets safer and more efficient for cyclists, pedestrians, and straphangers alike.

Make sure they get some teaching on how to obey the traffic laws ,,,THERE ALWAYS RUNN8 G LIGHTS AND STOP SIGNS !!! than they get hit and it’s the drivers fault forgot to mention they ride in and out of traffic
