Police are searching for a man who stole several valuables from a Williamsburg apartment while its residents were inside.

The man entered the apartment at 370 South 4th St. just before 4 a.m. on June 18, where the three residents— a 26-year-old man, a 30-year-old woman, and another 29-year-old woman—were sleeping, police say.

The man then took off in an SUV with a laptop, some cash, and credit cards for a total of $1,500, according to police.

The 90th Precinct has identified the suspect, Richard Castro, as a 49-year-old white Hispanic weighing 180 pounds and measuring 5 feet 7 inches.

Anyone with information is asked to call 1-800-557-TIPS.
