The Taste of Bushwick is returning for a fifth year next week in an event offering attendees an array of food and drink by local establishments.
The event will take place on June 12 from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Brooklyn Steel, located at 319 Frost St.
About 40 restaurants will be preparing foods for ticket holders to savor ranging from Mexican, Vietnamese, Middle Eastern, and Korean cuisine, and other foods like French pastries, ice cream and sweets, and pizzas.
Participating restaurants include the Brooklyn Cider House, a newcomer to the area offering cider and bar foods; Guadalupe Inn, specializing in Mexican dishes; Queen of Falafel; and Tony’s Pizzeria and Restaurant.
A number of breweries, bars, and cafes will also be on site offering beverages, including Arcane Distilling, Blue Bottle Coffee, Bushwick Grind, Tito’s Handmade Vodka, and the Precious Metal bar.
Tickets to the event, which also features live music, begin at $55 for general admission, and includes all food and drink. A vip ticket for $85 is also available, allowing a 5:30 p.m. entry and including a speciality cocktail and tote bag.
Children under 10 accompanied by an adult receive free admission to the event.
Proceeds for the Taste of Bushwick benefit the Bushwick Starr, the award winning non-profit theater in the neighborhood since 2007.
