Sixth Annual Grand Street Restaurant Week Kicks Off

For the sixth year in a row, Grand Street Restaurant Week is highlighting some of the best eats that East Williamsburg has to offer, at discounted prices.

Beginning Feb. 18 and running until March 3rd, 15 participating restaurants along Grand Street will be offering prix fixe menus of two-course lunches, ranging from $9.95 to $15, and three-course dinners, ranging from $11 to $35.

Old neighborhood favorites like Le Barricou, Forcella and Desy’s Clam bar will be joined by newer establishments such as Thompson Brooke, a seafood restaurant that opened in August of last year.

For diners looking to save while eating out, The Tacos Project, located at 800 Grand St., is offering the cheapest dinner menu at just $11. Guests there will have a choice of appetizer—either a tostada, Mexican salad, or arepa—followed by a plate of Pabellón criollo—a traditional Venezuelan dish of stewed beans with a choice of meat or vegetables, served over rice.

Diners will also have a chance to win a $50 gift card to their favorite participating by posting a picture of their Restaurant Week meal on Instagram and using the hashtag #DineOnGrand and tagging @GrandStreetBID in the photo.
