A six-story commercial building could be rising on Broadway near the Hewes St Station and just blocks from the Williamsburg Bridge.

A developer has filed plans to construct a commercial building at 453 Broadway in a project that would rise to 72 feet, according to building records. The site currently has a one-story building.

Floors two and three would be reserved for the commercial space of the building, spanning 8,153 square-feet. Meanwhile, floors four through six would house 9,548 square-feet of space for a community facility. Records show the floors would be used by philanthropic offices.

The building would also feature a court yard on the second floor, and six parking spaces on the first floor.

The building lists 453 Broadway LLC as the owner. Records show the property was purchased from B.H.V Properties Corp. in 2013 for $825,000.

The project is also rising next to a site that will see a five-story house of worship.

The LLC did not immediately respond to questions on the development.
