Man Steals $1,500 from Williamsburg Synagogue: NYPD

Police are searching for a man wanted for burglarizing a Williamsburg synagogue last month.

On May 25th, around 3 a.m. the unidentified man used a large screwdriver to open the front door of Congregation Arugath Habosem, located at 559 Bedford Ave.

Once inside, he stole $1,500 and then fled the scene, heading out the building’s side door on Rodney Street, police said.

The suspect is seen in security camera footage wearing all black clothing and a black face covering.
