MacBook, $1K, Stolen From East Williamsburg Self Storage Facility: NYPD

Police are searching for a man who stole a laptop and wads of cash from an East Williamsburg storage facility.

Police say the thief broke into the New York Self Storage facility at 1053 Metropolitan Ave. through a skylight at around 6:45 a.m. on April 7. From there, he stole a MacBook laptop and $1,000 in cash, police say.

The man was last seen operating a Caterpillar Payloader in the vicinity, according to police.

Police describe the suspect as white, with a thin build and a beard. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, black sneakers, a black long sleeve shirt with a logo on the front, dark sun glasses, and a baseball cap.

Shouldnt there be a logbook or some sort of record kept of who was authorized to operate a payloader on that day antime and area? I hope they get the guy.
