A pop-up holiday market will open in Greenpoint for the first three Sundays in December, where attendees can enjoy brunch, a drink, and local handmade goods beginning this weekend.
The holiday market will open at Threes Brewing, the bar, brewery, and event space located at 113 Franklin St., from noon to 6 p.m. on Dec. 3, and the following two Sundays after that.
Local vendors will be set up at the bar-pub’s parlor section, where crafts ranging from leather goods, wool hats, home goods from Kenya, and colorful handmade accessories will be for sale. A handful of artisan-made items curated from projects with a positive social impact will also be available. A lifestyle marketing company for creative, purpose-driven initiatives will also have a booth set up at the market.
The holiday market, curated by Frida Kamau of the Soko Africans design group, will operate out of the Threes Brewing’s outpost site in Greenpoint for the first time since its opening in February.
The brewery has held two holiday markets at its headquarters in Gowanus since its founding in 2014, which has seen a large turnout in every run, according to Justin Israelson, one of the breweries founders. The Gowanus site will also host a holiday market this year.
The vendors for the Greenpoint holiday market include:
Wazawazi Leather Goods
Lynn & Lawrence Wooly Hats
Druthers Undergarments & Basics
Kin Lab Collective
