A five-story mixed-use building is being built across the street from McCarren Park, city records show.

The building, located at 66 Nassau Avenue, at the corner of Lorimer Street and Nassau Avenue will be 55 feet tall, and will have a commercial unit, a day care center, and five apartments.

An eating and drinking establishment with an area of 1,543 square feet is proposed for the first floor of the building, while a daycare of 2,034 square feet is proposed for the second.

The remaining three floors, or 5,011 square feet of zoning area will be for apartments, with 2 apartments on the third and fourth floor, and one apartment on the top floor.

The building is owned by Greenburg Properties, a real estate developer based in Forest Hills, Queens. New York Design Architects is the Manhattan-based architecture firm working on the building, according to city documents.

The property is one block away from the Nassau Avenue train station.
