The owner of a popular Lower East Side comedy club owned has opened a new venue–this one in Williamsburg.

Comedian Edward Farrell, who established Old Man Hustle Comedy Bar on Essex Street in 2013, opened a second and much larger venue by the same name last month at 308 Bedford Ave. The space was previously occupied by the movie-screening bar Videology.

Both locations are centered around nightly comedy shows riddled with big names and local talent, which run every day of the week.

Old Man Hustle’s new location will string together the same quirky decor as its Essex Street venue – including electric blue lighting, fish tanks and exposed brick walls. However, unlike the Lower East Side location, the Williamsburg venue houses its comedy club area away from the bar.

The new venue offers a unique range of cocktails – including one made with popular chocolate drink Yoo-hoo – alongside draft beer and an expansive whiskey collection.

The comedy club side of the venue – dubbed simply “The Club” – has its own entrance on South First Street. Comedians from major TV networks such as Comedy Central, Netflix and MTV are expected to be on the nightly roster, according to a company statement.

Tickets for these shows will range from $10-$20 and can be purchased off the bar’s website at www.oldmanhustle.com or in person at the The Club.

The bar will stay open every night until 4 a.m., opening at 3 p.m. Monday to Friday and at noon on weekends.

Well at least it didn’t say old white man’s hustle. Could you imagine if somebody opened a club named the female B word hustle the outcry would be heard around the world.

PC only works in one direction it seems.

Thank you for your comment. Fairness, equality, free speech is always right, PC whether it’s from the left or right is always wrong.
