Running and art enthusiasts will be able to have a belated Valentine’s celebration tomorrow with the return of Runstreet’s fourth annual Love Art Run.

The 5k run, which will begin outside of sponsor OrangeTheory Fitness’ gym at 157 Kent Ave. at 10 a.m., will wind through Williamsburg and Greenpoint, stopping at large, love-themed murals along the way to take in the art and snap a few photos.

The run will be kept at a 10-minute mile pace, making the run an easy feat for even the most novice of runners. Runners will finish up the event with a photo contest with several prizes up for grabs.

The idea for art-centered runs came about when running coach, writer and founder of Runstreet Marnie Kunz began posting pictures of the street art she would see along her runs onto her popular Runstreet Instagram page.

“People kept asking me where the art was and I thought I would organize a run in Williamsburg to show them art and teach about the artists,” Kunz said.

Runstreet has now grown exponentially in size and organizes themed art runs throughout the year across several different cities to encourage runners to learn about the beauty around them. The annual Brooklyn Daydream 5K Art Festival, held this year on May 11, is the largest run of the year, typically seeing between 300 and 500 runners turn out to get their heart rates up all while appreciating the arts.

Tickets to participate in the Love Art Run are available online for $30. Children under 12 can run for free and dogs are welcomed.
