47-Year-Old Man Shot Inside NYCHA Building in Williamsburg Dies Days Later

A 47-year-old man who was shot inside a public housing complex in Williamsburg last Monday has died, police said.

Jeroid Tindal was shot inside the Independence Towers building where he lived on Monday, March 8 and succumbed to his wounds in hospital yesterday, police said.

Police officers responded to a 911 call of a man shot inside 85 Taylor St. around 10 p.m. Monday and found Tindal, unconscious and unresponsive, with multiple gunshot wounds to the face and chest.

EMS rushed him to Woodhull Hospital, where he died, police said.

There have been no arrests and the investigation remains ongoing, police said.

It’s pretty crazy that the murderers in New York City get to get away with their crimes.
